Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced 3D generalist to help with an unannounced project making a variety of natural structures and project-specific props. Experience with Unity VFX or particle effects is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Prop Creation: Model and texture props in your preferred 3D software.
  • UV Unwrapping: Efficiently unwrap your models to streamline the texturing process.
  • Stylistic Consistency: Follow established guidelines and maintain open communication with art leadership to ensure cohesive aesthetics across assets.
  • Professional Pipelines: Demonstrate familiarity with baking, retopology, and industry-standard optimization practices.
  • Collaborate with other Fantasma Creatives to export, optimize, and implement 3D assets into the game engine.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest 3D technology and techniques.

Qualifications

  • Proven 3D skills, proficiency in at least one major 3D application.
  • Experience with 3D software to Unity Asset pipeline.
  • Exceptional communications skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to communicate and work collaboratively with other Fantasma Creatives.
  • Experience with project management tools like Milanote.
  • Experience with 3D animation and motion tracking (a plus).

Optional Skills

  • Experience with Unity VFX or particle effects, especially hit impacts and special attacks.

Pay Range

Negotiable

Notes

  • This is NOT a Full-Time position, you'd work as projects come in.
  • We don't expect you to put your life on hold, scheduling always involved communication between our Director and assigned Creatives.
